My Trader Joe's Favorites

Ahhhhh TJ’s. If you live in Nashville you know that going to Trader Joe’s is not an easy task and some people choose to miss out on that TJ magic because the cluster that is the Green Hills parking lot just isn’t worth it to them. And while I curse the parking gods every time I go, I still can’t stay away.

I genuinely LOVE reading posts and hearing what people find at Trader Joe’s. They are always so busy that I feel like I am missing out on something new they have. So, for my fellow TJ people here are a few items that are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES!

Probably after you read this you’ll wonder how I ever completed a Whole30, much less two rounds. And I don’t really know either, but maybe one day I’ll put another list together that features basics and Whole30 Complaint things I get from Trader Joe’s. Now is not the time for that nonsense, let’s talk goodies!

Snacks and Dips

Jalapeño Lime Almond Dip - This sounds weird, I get it, but with baby carrots it’s absolute fire (actually does pack a little heat).

Avocado’s Number Guacamole - Hands down the best store bought guacamole. It’s plain, but in a good/classic way!

Cornbread Crisps - THESE ARE UNBEATABLE! I randomly saw someone post about these and haven’t stopped snacking on them since.

Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips - I love me some sweet potato chips!

Salsa Autentica - Great classic salsa! There are others out there but we pretty much keep this stuff on deck.

Spicy, Smokey Peach Salsa - A summer must! I am a sucker for a mix of sweet and savory.

Cowboy Caviar Salsa - I can’t quit this stuff. It’s the only kind of caviar for me!

Bruschetta Sauce - This is new to my TJ’s rotation. It’s so fresh and delicious, you can put it on pretty much anything!

Meats

Applewood Smoked Bacon Ends & Pieces - Honestly, and this will come as no shock, but any of their Applewood Smoked meats are amazing and fill the house with sweet sweet smells. I normally go for the pieces to use in breakfast hashes and salads.

Chile Lime Chicken Burgers - These patties are great, sometimes we’ll keep them for burgers other times I’ll cut it up and use them in tacos!

Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken - Great salad or sandwich chicken!

No Sugar Dry Rubbed Bacon - While I use the Applewood Bacon from time to time, the no sugar bacon is my go-to TJ’s bacon.

Frozen

Mac & Cheese Bites - M A G I C A L! I pretty much always have to have some sort of dipping sauce, but they are good solo. I recommend using the oven/toaster oven or air fryer if you have one!

Quinoa Cowboy Veggie Burgers - I’m not big on veggie burgers, but this one is out of this world. Even Phil is a big fan!

Turkey Corn Dogs - I get these every time I go to TJ’s because Phil could live off them. And to be honest, I partake on occasion and I can attest to their yumminess.

Sweet Potato Gnocchi - It’s rare to find a gnocchi I don’t love. And this right here, this is next level. Sweet potato + gnocchi … I am in! Trader Joe’s has other yummy gnocchi you should try too, like their Gnocchi al Gorgonzola.

Mini Beef Tacos - These shredded beef tacos are so freakin’ good. We always add avocado or guacamole and salsa.

Roasted Potatoes with Peppers & Onions - Since I tend to skip out on toast in the morning, I gotta have my potatoes. I like these because I don’t have to chop up any peppers to add in, there is already so much flavor!

Home

French Liquid Soap - Smells expensive and fancy but is deceivingly affordable.

Coconut Body Butter - This is basically summer in a lotion. It’s creamy and the scent is long lasting

Salmon Jerky Dog Treats - Beatrice’s absolute favorite treat! Just one ingredient, salmon. Smells kind of gross, but whatever!

Sweets

Speculoos Cookie Butter - Straight up, this is the reason I first started going to Trader Joe’s! If you haven’t tried this magical “butter” you aren’t living my friend. It’s perfect with just a spoon, but if that’s not how you roll you can get this addictive treat in ice cream or cookie form OR all three, go crazy.

Maple Leaf Cookies - This isn’t actually on my list, but it’s so high up on Phil’s I figured I’d add them.

Chocolate Covered Sea Salt Butter Scotch Caramels - The name pretty much covers it, what more could you want?!
